Shrink Vista/Windows 7 Desktop Icons

This has bugged me for a number of years about Vista. The icons on the desktop look way to big for me and never really worked out how to shrink them. Surprisingly its dead easy. Right Click anywhere on the desktop and click View. Then click on Classic Icons. Job done.

Remember, if you’re not comfortable amending the registry manually, don’t do this tip. You can automatically fill in file and folder names at the command prompt, much like a UNIX terminal.
