Send Ctrl+Alt+Del to a RDP session within an RDP Session

By | 18 July, 2014

Ctrl+Alt+Delete… one of the most basic shortcuts everyone knows…

If you open up an RDP session you can’t use Ctrl+Alt+Delete, as the command would just be effective on the main PC, and not your RDP session.  So you’d use Ctrl+Alt+End.

This is great if you only going into a single RDP session, but what do you do if that first RDP session is a jump box and you have to open another RDP session or even another RDP session and then need to send Ctrl+Alt+Delete….

The On Screen Keyboard to the rescue

Open the On Screen Keyboard – “OSK”

On your main keyboard press Ctrl + Alt and then select Del on On Screen Keyboard
